The cosy Apartamentos Descartes are located in what residents consider to be one of the best locations to live in Barcelona- the "Zona Alta". This is the best of both worlds- both close to the centre, but in an area which is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Near the FGC fast metro Plaza Molina and Muntaner stops, you can be in Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas or at the famous Gaudi buildings on Passeig de Gracia within minutes. Plaza Molina is little plaza with several of the best cafes and bakeries to start off your day right. Just beyond is the Gràcia district, which has a bohemian, village feel with its small streets, charming bars and plaza and mom and pop shops. This area is packed with shopping, most notably shoe shops leading from Plaza Molina down Balmes to chic Diagonal.
The apartments are located in a modern mirror glass building and have a reception area open from 9- 18:30. In the style of an aparthotel, the apartments are maintained impeccably with daily cleaning service. Decorated in a simple, modern style they can accommodate either 2 or 4 people. All are bathed in natural light either from the street side or from the beautiful interior garden in the courtyard. All include a full kitchen and bath with tub.

Les appartements Descartes sont idéalement situés pour rayonner dans Barcelone et pouvoir se reposer le soir après de longues ballades.
Leur situation à proximité des lignes Renfe et de buspermettent d'accéder rapidement au centre ville de Barcelone.
<Le quartier San gervasi esyt très ncalme et c'est idéal pour pouvoir se reposer . |

Le logement est bien situé,l'appartement est agréable est confortable (exit la moquette, vive le carrelage).Il possède la clim et le wifi.L'accueil a été plus que sympathique.Nous y retournerons sans hésiter. A recommander! |

Accommodation was clean, spacious and light. Very close to the metro and in a quiet neighbourhood but only 3 stops on the Metro from the centre of Barcelona. Comfortable bed! |

The accommodation was very clean and the location fantastic as we wanted to be in a local area but close to the tourist sector. It was perfect from this point view plus very safe. Though comfortable it was disappointing that 4 people did not get equal status in the flat with 1 couple having to sleep in the lounge in converted and separate seats. Comfy but disappointing plus the toilet was an en suite, inevitably disurbing the other couple in the bedroom. The sleeping arrangements should be more precisely outlined to make an informed decision. |

Appartement bien placé (à 100m du métro), parking à côté de l'appart (très pratique), appartement calme et la personne qui est à l'accueil est très sympathique et disponible |
