  About the accommodation
MACBA B is a lovely 75m2 apartment located in the Ciutat Vella (Old Town) of Barcelona, Spain about 2 minutes from Las Ramblas. Be surrounded by the beauty of this historical city which seamlessly combines the old and the new. You’ll be close to the Macba (Contemporary Art Museum) of Barcelona, housed in a contemporary Richard Meier building constructed in 1994 and also near the CCCB (Contemporary Culture Centre), located in an older building from the 1700s which was originally a convent, later an orphanage and now is a museum with fascinating exhibits and cultural events.  The city in the summer is full of music, theatre, dance, open air cinema and events of all kinds, especially in this area called the Raval. The Raval is also where the best nightlife happens with its underground bars tucked away in the most unlikely of places. The Apolo and Paloma clubs are the best in Barcelona for bringing in the DJs from around the world, and are located in beautiful old theatres. You’re also close to Las Ramblas, Liceu opera house, Pl. de Catalunya and the historical Gothic Quarter with its beautiful Cathedral. The apartment has been totally renovated and can sleep up to 7 people in 1 triple room with double bed and 1 single bed, 1 double room with 2 single beds, and 2 fold out single beds can sleep 2 more in the living room. The apartment is large and brightly painted with the classic ceiling found in many of the older houses. Wooden furniture serves as functional decoration and is elegant in its simplicity. There are 2 beautiful new bathrooms, one with bathtub and the other with shower, a living/dining room with two single sofa beds, table and chairs, kitchen separated by a screen, with all the amenities: bar and stools, fridge, washing machine, microwave, cooker, coffeemaker, toaster, etc. The apartment also has air conditioning, heating and television. Comfortable, cosy and in the heart of cultural Barcelona. REFUNDABLE 150€ security deposit for this apartment. Upon check-in, you can either show credit card (nothing charged if no damage to apartment) or pay 150€ in cash (returned at end of stay if no damage to apartment).

Wir waren für ein Wochenende zu viert in diesem Appartement. War alles in Ordnung, optimale Lage für alle Unternehmungen.

accomadation was perfect and well equipped, location better than expected. Would book again. Only downfall was that I handbag was tried to be snatched please barcelona get this problem sorted spoils a beautiful city.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral; in wenigen Minuten ist man auf der Ramblas. Für 5 Personen ist die Wohnung ideal. Man hat praktisch kein Sonnenlicht im Raum, jedoch verfügt jedes Zimmer über eine seperate Klimaanlage. Geschirr war genügend vorhanden und die Küchengeräte (inkl. Kühlschrank) funktionierten reibungslos.
