  About the accommodation
Have an original experience on the Paula I sailboat (not a houseboat), or as we like to call it the “floating apartment,” located in the Port Vell (Old Port) of Barcelona, only 5 minutes from Las Ramblas and the lively Born area. Built in 2003, the Paula 1, a 12m Bavaria sailboat with an interior space of 48m2, is both a luxury and delight. Discover the ingenuity used to take advantage of the limited space- you will see that your every need has been thought of in the design of the boat, and you will find that boat living is a unique and comfortable experience. You'll also be close to all the points of interest Barcelona has to offer, being located right in Barcelona’s beautiful Port Vell. You’re surrounded by the best seafood restaurants in Barcelona and are close to the Barceloneta beach or just soak in the Spanish sun on the boat’s deck. Stroll up Las Ramblas, a 5 minute walk away, or go out at night in the lively Born area, have a mojito on a terrace bar. The boat can sleep up to 6 people, with 3 cabins with double beds. You’ll have everything which a respectable apartment would have: in your bedroom, closets with hangers, drawers for your clothes, bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker and refrigerator. On top of that there is a dining table, TV, internet, electric heating, and fresh linens are provided (including bathrobe!). You will also have access to the boat community showers and bathrooms, washing machines and dryers. You’re only a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport to Port Vell. Please note: the boat cannot be taken out for sailing, and a deposit of 500€ via Visa card is required, and will be credited to your account within 4 days of the end of your stay except in cases of damage to the boat.Watch the curious smiles of your friends when you tell them you’ve stayed on a 40 foot sailboat. Not many people will be able to say they spent their Barcelona vacation on a luxury boat! REFUNDABLE 500€ security deposit will be charged to your Visa card, and will be credited within 4 days of check-out, provided there is no damage.

Port Vell, Barcelona, in the wharf area, 5 min from Las Ramblas and the Born. Close to the historical Gothic Quarter. 2 minutes from Barceloneta metro stop (line4), loads of bus lines, and the Estació de França (RENFE trains).

You should mention before the booking, that the use of bathroom and toilett on the boats is restricted and that the bathroom and toiletts at the port are maybe closed during the night.

400,- € are to expensive for 2 nights

Maybe it would be great to get one or two more passes to enter the marina because only one is not enough when you are 5 people on the boat. It would be great to have some cds as well and some ice cubes too ! be otherwise it was great.
