  About the accommodation
This spacious and comfortable private 120 m2 apartment can sleep 8 and is located next to one of the city’s main attractions, Parc Guell. More than just a park, it is a work of art which incorporates nature both in plant life and represented in the design of its structures. Park Guell is an eloquent example of Catalonia’s modernisme period, which can be easily understood as the Catalan version of the art nouveau movement, which also incorporated natural themes. The famous architect Gaudi, also known for Casa Milá, Casa Batlló and most famously the Sagrada Familia, designed this park. Eusebi Guell, for whom the park was named, was Gaudi’s patron and the sponsor for this project. His intention was to create a residential park next to his home Can Montaner. All the park’s fascinating ornamentation including the entrances, fountains, and the main stairway with the dragon which has become a symbol of Barcelona, are of Gaudi design. A short distance away you can have a meal at a fantastic modernisme building at the Asador de Aranda. Or enjoy a drink at the Mira Blau with spectacular views of the city. The park and apartment are close to bus and metro stations and offer easy access to the centre. This apartment has four rooms, two doubles, one triple and a single room, all with single beds. The wooden parquet floor is a special touch, and pine furniture a nice complement. Prepare a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, the large dining table seats 8. Relax in front of the TV in the large living/dining room. Chill out with the air conditioning, a welcome addition in the summertime, or enjoy the balcony which gives onto the street. The apartment has two full baths. Linens are provided. Gaudí lovers and bigger groups will love this apartment! REFUNDABLE 300¤ security deposit for this apartment. Upon check-in, you can either show credit card (nothing charged if no damage to apartment) or pay 300¤ in cash (returned at end of stay if no damage to apartment).
