  About the accommodation
A cool private apartment of 35 m², the Mercaders Apartment 5, located on Mercaders street across from the Gothic Cathedral in Barrio Gotico, just off Via Laietana in central Barcelona. This apartment is one open space were sleeps four comfortably in one King-size bed and one double sofa bed. Complete kitchen, complete bathroom. The apartment is newly remodeled. There is no better location to be within walking distance of so many of Barcelona's famous sites - Ramblas (10 min. walk), Old Port, Opera House, Picasso Museum, Plaça Catalunya. There's no lift in the building. Cancellation Policy: Canceling with less than 7 days notice and no shows will result in a charge for the first night (including taxes). REFUNDABLE 200€ security deposit for this apartment. Upon check-in, you can either show credit card (nothing charged if no damage to apartment) or pay 200€ in cash (returned at end of stay if no damage to apartment).

Petit appartement très agréable, très bien situé, très calme : on entend même les petits oiseaux !!! et monter 5 étages à pied après une journée de visite permet d'apprécier complètement le confort de l'appartement !

Posizione eccellente. Appartamento pulito ma vecchio. Qualità della struttura scarsa: doccia piccolissima, pavimento in legno molto rumoroso ad ogni minimo movimento, finestre con solamente tende bianche (alle 6 del mattino la luce del sole entra completamente).

Unterkunft war einfach, aber sehr zentral, leider war nicht erwähnt, dass das Appartment im 5 Stock ohne Aufzug mit 93 Stufen ist, daher eher nicht für Familien mit Kindern geeignet.

El piso me encantó y la zona es excepcional aunque no es nada aconsejable ir sola por la noche. Tiene lo necesario para pasar unos días y es acogedor.Se aconseja no llevar mucho equipaje ya que es un quinto sin ascensor con escaleras bastante estrechas. Para los extranjeros no será importante pero para los de aquí sí:no hay persianas, hay que acostumbrarse a la luz del día para dormir.

The apartment was very nice and clean, the only thing which was not too god have been the furniture which was really chaep and not too stabil( chairs, bed).
