  About the accommodation
Cheery, homely 50m2 apartment in the vibrant heart of Barcelona, ideal for a group of friends or a family of up to 6 persons. The apartment has been recently refurbished and is situated on the third floor of a 100-year-old building in the lively Raval area, 2 minutes walk from Las Ramblas and Liceu metro station (Line 3). It is tastefully decorated, retaining original design features such as wooden beams on the ceiling and Venetian-style painted  walls. There is one bedroom with 4 single beds and  the airy living room, which has a sofa bed for 2 extra guests, includes a table with chairs. There is also a small, fully fitted kitchen and separate bathroom. Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter, and the contemporary art museum (MACBA) are just a few steps away, and you're just 10 minutes strolling from the Old Port area, and 15 minutes from the city's beaches. Public transport connections are excellent, with Liceu metro station (line 3) very close plus a wealth of bus routes. The Raval district, on the left side of Las Ramblas, is a bustling, diverse multicultural inner city area packed with bars, restaurants, and food stores offering dishes from all over the world, as well as hip, modern bars and clubs and more traditional Catalan and Spanish stores, bars and eateries, all with a distinctive urban vibe.

Sistemazione sicuramente comoda a due passi dalla Rambla. Appartamento gradevole. Il quartiere in cui si trova non è sicuramente dei più decorosi...

The apartment itself was very nice and in a central location, albeit in the prostitute district; i wouldn't recommend it to families for this reason. But for a 5 person group it was fine and great for getting to and from La Ramblas.

The pictures do the apartment no justice. It is a lot bigger than the pictures portray. Be aware that prostitutes work in the area.

Polmarc Apartment A liegt super zentral und nur wenige Gehminuten vom spanischen Großstadtleben (den Ramblas) sowie dem schönen Hafen entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten jeder Art befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und typisch catalanisch eingerichtet. Abends ist es bei geöffnetem Fenster etwas laut, da die Unterkunft im "Rotlicht-Viertel" Barcelonas liegt und viele Menschen nachts lange unterwegs sind. Gemütliche Unterkunft mit familiärer Atmosphäre (vollständige Wohnung mit Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit Essbereich, Duschbad und kleiner Küche). Würde dort immer wieder buchen!!!

1-points positifs : -situation idéale pour visiter Barcelone en quelques jours.Rue piétonne dans un quartier populaire du centre ville en pleine mutation(à l'origine quartier de prostituées et d'immigrés), entre le Monjuic et la Rambla, et juste à côté du métro Liceu ou Paral-lel. -confort et équipement simples mais satifaisants. -rapport qualité-prix très intéressant. -Petits supermarchés dans la rue et multiples restaurants à proximité. -il y a suffisamment d'eau chaude pour plusieurs douches à la suite contrairement à un commentaire, à condition d'éteindre l'eau pendant qu'on se savonne. -Moises est fiable : répond au téléphone, très ponctuel, très accueillant, chaleureux, on peut compter sur lui, pas de mauvaise surprise. 2-points négatifs : -le logement a 1 gros défaut : la mauvaise isolation phonique. L'appartement est dans un vieil immeuble. Il est très bien rénové, très propre, très fonctionnel, et équipé de fenêtres à double vitrage en PVC. Mais malheureusement ces fenêtres sont mal posées, on voit bien que ce n'est pas fait par un professionnel: la fenêtre n'adhère pas à son cadre,laisse passer le jour, l'air et le bruit et l'isolation phonique laisse à désirer, dommage... -énorme(+++) chantier juste sous les fenêtres : construction de la "filmoteca" de Barcelone, beaucoup de bruit de 8h00 à 18h00. -niveau sonore nettement moins important la nuit dans cette rue piétonne mais du monde dans la rue qui parle fort toute la nuit. Mais le bruit en plein centre-ville, c'est normal : ce qui est dommage, c'est la très mauvaise qualité d'isolation phonique. Mais on est tellement content d'être en plein centre que cela compense ce défaut.
