  About the accommodation
This is a comfortable and sunny 4 bedroom private apartment of 100 m2 located in the heart of Barcelona, next to the Plaza Universitat. It is 5 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas,­­ the Barri Gòtic neighbourhood, the elegant Passeig de Gràcia--which is on the Modernist Route, and the famous architect Antonio Gaudi’s La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. The apartment is equipped with TV in the living-dining room, as well as in each of the 4 bedrooms, security boxes, central heating and AC. A separate 10 m2 kitchen is well-equipped with refrigerator, microwave, and everything you should need. There are 2 bathrooms--one with a bathtub, and the other with a sink and WC. This tranquil 4 bedroom apartment overlooks a large courtyard and can acommodate up 9 persons: 2 ample-sized bedrooms, each with 2 single beds, another large room with a double bed, and the last room with a single bed. The living room holds a double sofa bed and a dining table that seats 9. Situated in the residential neighbourhood of l'Eixample. Beginning construction in 1860 as the city began to expand, the zone was planned in 550 uniform blocks of streets with open and green spaces. Although some of those parks never made it, l'Eixample is still a living example of utopian urban engineering. Plaza Universitat Apartment is a sunny oasis in this historical and dynamic city. Located in Eixample, 2 minutes walk to Plaça Universitat. Some minutes walk to Plaça Catalunya, Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter, Passeig de Gracia, part of the Modernist Route and others emblematic monuments of Barcelona. Thanks to its central location , it is very well connected by metro, bus (day and night) and regional trains providing easy access around the city and the beaches. Direct train and bus from / to the Airport - Plaza Catalunya.

Praktische, komfortable und sehr gepflegte Wohnung in Fußnähe zum Barri Gotic und der Rambla. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und unsere Kinder begeistert von dem Fernseher in jedem einzelnen Schlafzimmer... Leider Klimaanlage nur im Wohnzimmer (enthält Schlafcouch für 2 Personen), in den Schlafzimmern sind Ventilatoren vorhanden. Bei Temperaturen um 35°C, wie bei unserem Aufenthalt, herrscht dort trotz Ventilatoren nachts Hitze. Nachteil: Hohe Gebühren in den umliegenden Parkhäusern, 24 € pro 24 Stunden. Vans werden als Nutzfahrzeuge eingestuft und kosten noch mehr! Im August stehen von 21 Uhr abends bis 9 Uhr am nächsten Morgen kostenlose öffentliche Parkplätze an naheliegenden Straßenkreuzungen zur Verfügung (dort sind Parkbuchten vorhanden). Mit etwas Glück kann man sich also die Parkhausgebühren für die Nacht sparen.

Die Unterkunft hat unseren Vorstellung genau entsprochen was Größe, Lage und Preis betrifft.

Chouette appartement,calme,bien situé.Plein de petites chose à disposition comme savon, papier toilette,sucre,sel,...Dommage que l'annonce proposait 2 salles de bain et il n'y en a qu'une plus une toilette.

Die Unterkunft war für das Preisleistungsverhälnis auf jeden Fall optimal! Einziges negatives war das nicht jedes Bett bezogen war und man sich in der Wohnung Bettwäsche suchen musste, bwz von einem nicht gebrauchten Bett die Wäsche nehmen musst! Ansonsten nur zu empfehlen!!!
