  About the accommodation
The chic 40m2 Red Apartment sleeps 4 in a fabulous location near the Cathedral and Las Ramblas on a charming street of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona, Spain. Wander the narrow streets of the historical quarter and discover beautiful plazas and outdoor cafés where you can sit in the shade of a tree and admire the beautiful gothic buildings and churches such as the elegant XIII century Santa Maria del Mar church in the Born area, also home of the Picasso Museum. The apartment is just around the corner from where the Roman aqueduct used to bring the city fresh water in the plaza! From here you can also reach the beach in record time, by bus, metro or even on foot through the Old Town and the beautiful marina in the Barceloneta neighbourhood. Here there are all manner of fish and shellfish restaurants serving up the best paella in town (not prefab frozen paella in the more tourist areas). To escape the heat and grab a beer try one of the chiringuitos (bars right on the beach) or Daguiri, the beachfront’s trendiest bar/café.The apartment has 1 private room with a double bed for two persons, plus a double sofa bed in the saloon for two extra persons. Total sleeps 4 persons. The motif of the apartment is a deep, rich red and is decorated with modern furniture which combines well with the traditional tiled flooring. A fantastic modern apartment in the Gothic Quarter! Cancellation Policy Cancelling with less than 7 days notice and no shows will result in a charge for the first night (including taxes). REFUNDABLE 200€ security deposit for this apartment. Upon check-in, you can either show credit card (nothing charged if no damage to apartment) or pay 200€ in cash (returned at end of stay if no damage to apartment).

Located in Gotic quarter, two streets to the Cathedral. 5 minutes walking distance to Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas, Paseo de Gracia (with Gaudí's Houses and Modernist Route), Gotic quarter, Old Port. 15 minutes walking to Barceloneta Beach. As it is in the center, you have the best communications with whole city by underground, buses (day and night), trains to Beaches and from/to Airport, taxis. URQUINAONA metro stations (yellow line and red line) is a 3 minute walk from the apartment.

Une situation idéale au coeur de la ville pour un logement simple et fonctionnel; un lit à lattes qui a vécu et des fenêtres qui meriteraient un double vitrage... mais c'est la rançon d'une ville passionnante !

Excellent location, although in the middle of everything it was very peaceful at nights. Very nice and friendly welcome from vilem. A few things need to be taken care of though: the doorknob to the bathroom is loose and when you sit on the toilet you are getting wet on your back - some kind of leak from the heater. Otherwise all was super.

Das Appartment ist super gelegen, sehr nache bei Metro-Stationen und im Zentrum gelegen, eine Strasse zu der Einkaufspassage hin 3 Metrostationen vom Strand, ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen

Hardly any daylight, but that's not a problem, because it's less warm also. It is not luxurious, but the location is perfect! A great appartment for a citytrip!
