  About the accommodation
The Passeig del Born Apartments are stylish, contemporary 50m2 studio lofts located in the exciting Born Quarter of Barcelona. The apartments face the elegant Santa Maria Del Mar church, one of the cities most beautiful churches which is worth taking a peek in. The Born is Barcelona's most fashionable area, is positively packed with stylish bars, restaurants and boutiques is a favourite haunt for the locals. The heart and soul of the area is the wide open, tree-lined Passeig del Born, the centre of Barcelona in medieval times where jousts and other events where held once upon a time. Montcada was the street where nobles lived in their stately palaces. Today one of these palaces houses the world class Picasso Museum with an extensive and varied collection of the artists many stages of work. The Textile Museum is across the street and is a good representation of one of Barcelona’s most important trades. For an outstanding lunch including 2 courses, wine, bread and fabulous desserts at a rock bottom price, head to the nearby Little Italy, which serves up Mediterranean cuisine (and rarely pasta dishes). Las Ramblas, the city centre and Barcelona's beaches are also just a few minutes' walk away. The apartments sleep up to 4 people, with 2 twin beds and 1 double sofa bed. They have a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom and a comfortable living room. They are located in 18th century building and have been completely refurbished in 2004. The flats retain many original design features which, combined with a choice of modern lighting and decoration, give the apartment a warm, Mediterranean atmosphere. These lovely apartments in the Born are simply the happening place to be. Important: REFUNDABLE 200 euros security deposit for this apartment. Upon check-in, you can either provide credit card details (nothing charged if no damage to apartment) or pay 200 euros in cash (returned at end of stay if no damage to apartment). Standard check-in time is 14:00. Standard check-out time is 11:00. Other check in times can be arranged. Check-in after 20:00 is 25€ extra. Check-in later than 24:00h is not allowed.

100 metres to Santa Maria del Mar Church. 5 minutes' walk to Las Ramblas and 10 to Plaza Cataluña and Passeig de Gracia (Modernist Route and Gaudi's buildings) 3 minutes to Old Port and Barceloneta beach. Well connected by underground and buses to whole city.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral zum Bahnhof Franca, zum Barri Gótic, zu Barceloneta und zum Meer. Sie ist charmant und liegt direkt schräge gegenüber der wunderschönen Kirche Santa Maria del Mar. Insofern bietet sie einen zentralen Ausgangspunkt. El Born ist sehr charmant mit seinen vielen kleinen Geschäften, Bars und Restaurants. Direkt am Passeig del Born gelegen ist es jedoch auch recht laut in der Nacht. Die Wohnung ist charmant und vollständig eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz für vier Personen, allerdings nur durch einen Paravent getrennt. Sie ist komplett ausgestattet. Bis auf den Boden war die Wohnung sauber. Die Wohnungsübergabe klappte auch nach 20 Uhr einwandfrei und wir konnten am letzten Tag direkt um die Ecke unser Gepäck für wenig Geld deponieren. Dadurch konnten wir auch diesen Tag noch voll genießen. Mit der Bahn von der Station Franca fährt man in ca. 30 min. für ca. 70 Cent zum Flughafen.
