  About the accommodation
The beautiful, parquet-floored Borne Apartments are several studio apartments with an unbeatable location in the Born, one of the most interesting and trendy neighbourhoods of Barcelona. This neighbourhood has it all from culture to history, art to shopping and some of the best restaurants in the city. Just around the corner is the famous Picasso Museum, where you can see a sampling from every period of this prolific artist’s work. Explore the winding pedestrian streets full of boutiques and the newest styles. There are occasional classical concerts in the XIII century Santa Maria del Mar church. This beautiful church is close to the hearts of Barcelonans- peek in for a moment and behold this amazing feat of architecture realized before the today’s technology when they were able to encase delicate stained glass in thick heavy rock. Las Ramblas is a short distance from this area with its non-stop action, and the bohemian Raval area is just beyond. Eat like a king at midday at Little Italy’s menú del día, a first class three course meal complete with wine, freshly baked bread and sinful desserts while listening to the smooth sounds of Billy Holiday and other jazz greats. For vegetarians La Bascula on Flassanders street is a beautiful little café serving quiche, empanadas (filled pasty) milkshakes and a range of teas. These cosy modern apartments are in a totally renovated XVIII century building and sleeps from 2 to 5 people is one large double bed or two single beds and a sofa bed. Parquet wood floors, barrelled ceilings, soft lighting, a small balcony and warm colours all give these apartments a special feel. There is a full bathroom, TV, CD player, air conditioning, heating and a fully equipped modern kitchen. There is also high-speed Internet access. Fresh linens are provided for guests. Cosy little studio aparments in the exciting Born area. Important: REFUNDABLE 200 euros security deposit for this apartment. Upon check-in, you can either provide credit card details (nothing charged if no damage to apartment) or pay 200 euros in cash (returned at end of stay if no damage to apartment). Standard check-in time is 14:00. Standard check-out time is 11:00. Other check in times can be arranged. Check-in after 20:00 is 25€ extra. Check-in later than 24:00h is not allowed.

It's a 5 min walk to "Urquinaona" red line metro station. Between Las Ramblas and the Ciutadella Parc. Only 10 mins walk to Plaça Catalunya.

Cet appartement était parfait pour une semaine. Seul souci il n'y a pas de quoi ranger ses affaires, pas d'armoire

Lage ist perfekt, da nicht direkt im Touristenviertel. Der Platz rund um die Kirche Santa Maria del Mar ist ein Traum. Das Appartment war für 3 Personen ausgerichtet und etwas zu klein. Für 2 Personen ideal. Da man aber ja wenig Zeit im Appartment verbringt, hat es schon gepasst.

The apartments were very clean and well equiped and in a very nice and convenient district.The only downside was that we could not get the safe's to work in any of our 3 rooms

Bohemian feel but well equiped. Bathroom a little squeezy but OK (could be improved with a few more shelves). Location is excellent, everything you want and need is close by e.g. mini-supermarket, shops, transport, eating out, bars, places of interest, public transport etc. Room generally fine but thought the lighting could be improved esp. provision of bedside lights. Nice roof terrace accessible if required. Laundry service was offered by agent via housekeeper with first load free!(did not use this).

die betten-/matratzenqualität war leider nur unterdurchnschnittlich
