  About the accommodation
Diagonal Mar Apartment II is a splendid 100m2, 3 bedroom apartment in a brand new building in the prestigious Diagonal Mar area. Just a 10 minute walk from the beautiful “La Mar Bella” beach and a 10 minute metro ride from Barcelona’s historical centre. This modern neighbourhood was designed by architects such as: Jean Nouvel, Domenique Perrault, etc. Barcelona’s world class hotels (Hilton, Amrey, Sky) are based in this area where too are located the Catalonia” biggest shopping centres (“Diagonal Mar· and “Gloria” ) with bars, restaurants, cines, discos and leisure centres;  Park of cultural activities “FORUM” and others beatiful parcs with artificial lakes. The apartment is equipped with air-conditioning and heating in each of the 3 bedrooms, as well as in the living-dining room and kitchen. A separate well-equipped 11 m2 kitchen and a spacious independent living-dining room give access to a terrace, where you can sunbathe. There are 2 complete bathrooms—one en suite with a large bathtub, and the other with a shower. This comfortable apartment sleeps 8 – with family or friends this is the ideal place to relax and enjoy all that the apartment has to offer for a great holiday. The master bedroom has a double bed ( 150x190) and there are two large bedrooms, each with 2 single beds (90x190), which may be joined and converted into a king-size bed. Each of the bedrooms has built-in wardrobes and big windows with views of the legendary Avenue Diagonal, Parc Central and the emblematic AGBAR building. Among the apartment’s amenities you will find two communal swimming pools, a large lift give acces to car park available for use at an extra charge. DIAGONAL MAR offers it all – a neighbourhood of the future, near to the sea and the old city. Cancellation Policy Cancelling with less than 7 days notice and no shows will result in a charge for the first night (including taxes).

Apartment located in the Diagonal Mar area; 10 minutes from the “La Mar Bella” beach and 10 minutes by metro to Barcelona’s historical centre, Poble Nou metro station is 2 minutes walk from the apartment. It is also well connected by bus (day and night), tram and regional trains providing easy access around the city and the beaches.

Spartan yet good. Sleeps 8 comfortably, but not much space for doing other things (e.g. watch TV, sit around and talk), which was fine by us (as we were out exploring Barcelona most of the time). Seems like a good value, when compared to other choices, especially for a group of 8 (there are not many options). A/C and a pool were appreciated. It's a bit far from the main action but it's close to a metro station, and one can be downtown in 15 minutes. Rambla del Poblenou is a big treed boulevard nearby with many choices for tapas/dinner. Less touristy. Apartment could use a few more furnishings; e.g. cooking utensils, more than 6 sets of dishes/glasses for 8 people. Need instructions for the A/C unit; we never did figure out how to get the apartment to stabilize at a specific temperature. Signs were not very friendly, mostly warnings re what NOT to do and the consequences of ignoring those warnings (i.e. get evicted). I'm sure that these are needed for some groups (i.e. those who come to Barcelona looking for a place to party) but a friendlier welcome would be much more appreciated by others. What would be handy: supply a note with info on local attractions, stores (groceries), restaurants, transportation options (including how to get to/from airport)

Era el mejor sitio del mundo...tanto que ahora sufro depresión postvacacional al haber vuelto a Madrid...cuento los dias que quedan para poder volver a la que considero mi casa en Barcelona, porque me enamoré completamente. Cerca del metro, de centros comerciales, del tranvia, de la vida, de todo. Fue genial. Repetiría y repetiré sin dudarlo.

Sistemazione ottima! Appartamento nuovissimo e mobili nuovissimi. A poca distanza dalla fantastica metro di Barcellona. L'incaricato delle chiavi gentile e disponibile.Se torno a Barcellona, vado lì.

The accomodation was superb. it was exactly the same as the pics on the website. A very modern apartment with excellent security. You have to call the rep when you get off the plane and he spoke good english and was bang on time when meeting at the apartment. He was knowledgeable about the apartment, explained things well and took all the time necessary to help you. the only down side about the apartment was the fact that you had to keep the noise down. It warnes you very clearly not to make noise between 10pm and 10am and it dramatically warns that if the police are called you will be evicted immediately and without compensation. We took this to the extreme and walked about the laminate flooring without shoes etc and gently closed the doors etc. In fairness, i think the neighbours would only complain if there was a party or loud music or shouting etc as we met a few of them in the passing and they were very friendly and polite. I think we over reacted and I think a normal behaviour would be tolerated and acceptable. the location was very good and it was literally 3-4mins to the metro station. There is a market nearby and it is a quiet location. I would recommend it and the more you live in it the more you will appreciate it.

casa nuovissima e pulita.vivibile tranquillamente in 5 persone.siamo stati molto bene.zona tranquilla servita da bus x centro barcellona.10 minuti a piedi sei al mare.tutto ok!
